3 Days Tour From Errachidia To Fes: Set out on a three-day journey to Fes, Morocco, from Errachidia. Explore the desert for three days and two nights. Experience the music and dance of the Gnaoua and Khamlia people while visiting nomadic tents. A few kilometers distant, explore an old eyeliner mine and find Merzouga’s wildlife lagoon. See the sunrise and sunset on the sand dunes, ride camels, and stroll through the grove of palm trees. In the Sahara, spend the night in a desert tent.

See the historic town of Erfoud and the Rissani market. Discover the cedar woodland of the Barbary macaque and Ifrane, sometimes referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland. In Fes, the journey comes to an end.

Day 1: Errachidia to Merzouga>> distance:128.7 km

You will be picked up at the airport in Errachidia to begin your three-day desert tour to Fes. To reach the Sahara desert, head south. Have dinner and spend the night at Merzouga.

Day 2:Explore Merzouga Region with activities>> distance: 137 km

Explore the Merzouga region during the day after breakfast. Explore breathtaking locations such as sand dunes, an untamed lake, mines, fossil sites, and picturesque oasis. Drive off-road to an old eyeliner mine to start your quest. After that, sip Berber tea while meeting nomads in their handwoven tents and learning about their way of life. After that, travel to Khamlia village to take in performances of Gnaoua dance and music. The people who live in Khamlia are from sub-Saharan nations including Niger, Sudan, and Mali. Visit the wild lake of Merzouga, also called Flamingos Lake, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the palm tree grove after lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Change to camels in the afternoon and ride into the arid desert, stopping to observe the sunset from the top of a tall dune. Proceed to the opulent camp, where you can dance around the campfire while listening to Berber drum music beneath a starry sky. We’ll have dinner and spend the night at the camp.

Day 3: Merzouga to fes>> distance:471.20km

Get up early on the last day to take in the stunning desert dawn. Your driver will be waiting for you when you return to Merzouga on camels after breakfast. Visit Rissani town, the former capital of Tafilalet and a significant commerce hub, to escape the desert. Visit a fossilized marble studio in Erfoud after taking a leisurely stroll through Rissani Souk. Stop for a broad perspective of the Ziz Valley as you go along the Ziz River. Proceed to the cedar forest, which is home to Barbary Macaques, after lunch in Midelt. Feel free to explore the forest and feed them. See Ifrane, dubbed the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine-style homes, snow, and cold temperatures. Your tour will come to an end when you are dropped off at the airport or your Fes lodging.
